MedicineNet – Content-rich commercial site includes interactive groups, ask-the-doctor feature, medical dictionary, comprehensive drug information, medical news, disease-specific information, and links.

Medscape – Searchable commercial collection of full-text articles from such useful sources as the National Institutes of Health and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Oncolink – Huge collection of cancer information and links based at the University of Pennsylvania. The best starting place found for cancer information.

Medical Matrix – Physician maintained commercial database of annotated health links. Oriented toward medical professionals, but accessible to an educated lay person. A keyword search gets you to a subject index, from which you navigate to the links you want.

American Academy of Facial Plastic & Recon. Surgery (AAFPRS) – world’s largest specialty association for facial plastic surgery. It represents more than 2,700 facial plastic and reconstructive surgeons throughout the world.

American Association of Cosmetic Surgery (AACS) – Founded in 1985, the mission of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery is to advance the specialty of cosmetic surgery and quality patient care.

American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons – find information about oral and maxillofacial surgery including cancer, dental implants, sports safety, jaw surgery, and more.

California Assoc. of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons (CALAOMS) – is the only recognized California state component society of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (AAOMS).

American Dental Association (ADA) – Founded in 1859, the American Dental Association is the oldest and largest national dental society in the world.

American Dental Society of Anesthesia (ADSA) – Provides a forum for education research, and recognition of achievement in order to promote safe and effective patient care for all dentists who have an interest in anesthesiology, sedation and the control of anxiety and pain.

American Medical Association (AMA) – For over 160 years the American Medical Association has promoted scientific advancement, improved public health, and invested in the doctor and patient relationship.

AO Foundation (AO) – Founded in 1953, the AO Foundation is a medically guided nonprofit organization led by an international group of surgeons specialized in the treatment of trauma and disorders of the musculoskeletal system.

California Dental Association (CDA) – Founded in 1870, we are part of a membership structure that includes 32 local dental societies and the American Dental Association. In fact, we are proud to say we represent the single largest membership in the American Dental Association

California Medical Association (CMA) – Promoting the science and art of medicine, the care and well-being of patients, the protection of the public health and the betterment of the medical profession

Santa Clara County Dental Society (SCCDS)– Founded in 1889 by eight dentists who lived and worked in the Santa Clara Valley. At that time the population was approximately 48,000 inhabitants for the entire county. Now, with over 1.5 million people and over 1,200 dentists!

Santa Clara County Medical Association (SCCMA) – The Santa Clara County Medical Association (SCCMA) and the Monterey County Medical Society (MCMS) are professional associations representing physicians and their patients in all modes of practice and specialties, including medical students and resident.
