Education and Academic Background
Dr. Afifi began his academic journey at UC Berkeley, earning his undergraduate degree in 2008 before obtaining his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in 2013.
After practicing general dentistry for four years, his passion for surgical challenges and deeper clinical knowledge led him to specialize in oral and maxillofacial surgery. He then pursued a 6-year residency and earned his medical degree (MD) from UCSF in 2022, refining his expertise in dentoalveolar surgery and implant procedures.
